Eagle Point Local News Makes a Community

Local News Makes a Community
Reporters Paul Fattig, Edith Decker, Wayne Lee

No one knows local better than the reporters who write for our local newspapers. Paul Fattig and Edith Decker write for the Grants Pass Courier and Wayne Lee for the Upper Rogue Independent. They have a front line view of news and the community. Where do they get their ideas? What’s their writing process? How do they manage a flood of information and intense deadlines? Fattig, Decker and Lee will be on hand for a friendly conversation about how newspapers work in the digital age, how they do the work they do so well and how local news builds community.
