The Douglas County Master Gardeners program of Oregon State University Extension will host "Spring into Gardening" on March 11 at the Phoenix School in Roseburg. Small Farms coordinator Logan Bennett will be the keynote speaker featuring "Small Farms and Agriculture in Douglas County". A series of classes will follow including practical approaches to vegetable gardening, home orchards, improving garden soil, permaculture, honeybees, lilies, succulents, irises, and so much more.
