Decolonizing Renewable Energy Development: indigenous affairs reporting from the High Country News

The Schatz Energy Research Center will host a talk on Decolonizing Renewable Energy Development on Wednesday, February 19, at 5:30 pm in the Native American Forum at Cal Poly Humboldt. Indigenous affairs journalist B. ‘Toastie’ Oaster will join Editor in Chief Jennifer Sahn of High Country News to discuss ways that Tribal communities are pushing back against projects that threaten ecological and cultural resources, and what alternative approaches to renewable energy development might look like.
