Christmas Tree Recycling in Ashland is scheduled for Saturday, January 6th. Please have your tree curbside the night of Friday, January 5th. This massive pick-up is a joint effort by Troops 112 and 8112, Cub Scout Pack 112 and the Ashland Lion’s Club in conjunction with the City of Ashland’s Parks and Recreation Department and marks the troop’s 37th year of recycling Christmas trees for Ashland. The recycled trees are chipped and used throughout the parks in Ashland. (Sorry, there is no way to tell when a truck will be on any particular street.)
This recycling event is free, although donations to the Scouts are much appreciated.
