Scotia biomass plant; a breached levee; and a county suing its own sheriff

The JPR news team gathers for a roundtable discussion of the top news stories they've been working on this week. Top stories include:

Earlier this month, a levee was breached, which separated Agency Lake and the Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. That re-connected 14,000 acres of wetland habitat to Upper Klamath Lake.

The tiny town of Scotia, California on the state’s remote Redwood Coast was built up entirely around a large sawmill. An attached biomass plant that burns the wood waste for electricity stands in the middle of a climate debate in the region.

The Curry County Board of Commissioners has sued their sheriff in the latest escalation of tensions between the offices.
