Once again, thanks to the pandemic, events celebrating togetherness have to be held with people apart from each other. But the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated just the same.
In Grants Pass, several organizations join in observing MLK day, Monday evening at 5:30 PM in a Facebook livestream.
Rogue Community College is among the participants in the celebration. Sally Snyder, Assistant to the Vice President of Student Services at RCC, is our guest, along with Reverend Ernestein Flemister of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Ashland City Councilor Gina Duquenne adds details about the Ashland MLK celebration.
