Pictures that impart many words about climate change

The pictures that show glaciers receding over a series of years are some of the most effective at communicating how much the planet is warming.

There is such a sequence in The Atlas of a Changing Climate, plus a LOT more.

Brian Buma, the author, tracks climate change in his work as a professor at the University of Colorado-Denver. And his book demonstrates visually the current impacts of climate change, and where we might end up in the future.

We visit to talk about the concepts and the ways they are expressed visually.
