Day after Thanksgiving Exemplar I

Pixabay

Call it Thanksgiving II or Black Friday, a lot of people take the day off from work. The JX crew observes that protocol, populating our time slot with a pair of interviews from our archives.

At 8: hundreds if not thousands of people ran toward the World Trade Center in New York City when the planes hit the towers in 2001.

Many of the ones who lived spent years in failing health, seeking relief for their suffering. They went to court, and William Groner represented them.

He tells the story with journalist Tom Teicholz in the book 9/12: The Epic Battle of the Ground Zero Responders.
