Recent Rogue Valley transplant offers words and pictures of tribute to new home
Sometimes it helps to see a person or place with fresh eyes.
Barbara Cervone brings a relatively new perspective to the Rogue Valley, having lived in the Ashland area just since 2018, after a lifetime on the East Coast.
Soon after she settled in the region, she began sharing photographs in a blog, Postcards from the Rogue Valley.
Now the blog has become a book of pictures and prose about heart of our region, recorded in its many moments of great beauty, but honest about its issues (like summer smoke).
Barbara Cervone visits to talk about the wild hair that got her and husband Tony to move out here, and how she put her eyes and brain to work documenting the place.
