Pulitzer winner Anthony Doerr talks about the new 'Cloud Cuckoo Land'

Wikimedia Commons

What do you do after you win a Pulitzer Prize for fiction?

You write another book, in Anthony Doerr's case. All the Light We Cannot See is not only still selling well, it is in development as a series on Netflix.

And while that goes on, Anthony Doerr is out with another book, Cloud Cuckoo Land.

Where his previous work followed stories in different places, this one follows several stories in different places and times, from 15th-century Constantinople to an interstellar ship in the future.

"A story about stories," says NPR. "A book about everything," says the New York Times.

The author joins us to share his own thinking about the book and its contents.
