Living And Learning About Mental Illness, First-Person

Media depictions of mental illness have tended to be a bit over-the-top. But the fact is, people can and do live with mental illness.

We continue our series of monthly visits to the subject, in partnership with the Southern Oregon chapter of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

This month we visit with Doug Haghan and Sherry McCowan, who have stories to tell of years of treatment ultimately leading to stability and success, and Camdon Englebach, who has a similar story plus details about being a peer counselor.

They join us, along with Andra Hollenbeck of NAMI-SO.
