Planned Parenthood's Sex Education Programs In SW Oregon

LA Johnson
/
NPR

Some kids can barely talk when they start asking where babies come from. Parents might put them off a few years by talking about storks and such, but they'll learn eventually.

Planned Parenthood is determined that they get good information, and the Southwestern Oregon Chapter offers both in-person and virtual training on human reproductive matters. It's not all one-way; trainers have learned from kids that they have LOTS of questions about sex.

Ruby Bebekian and Amy Handler from PPSO visit to talk about what they teach, and what they learn back. They also discuss new avenues of outreach necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
