Once restaurant dining moved outdoors, it was only natural a lot of other activities would follow. Art Beyond is an art exhibition set up at several sites around Ashland, hosted by the Schneider Museum of Art.

One of the installations will be on the beginner slope at Mount Ashland. Artists Michael Parker and Alyse Emdur plan a series of sculptures based upon the pandemic obsessions of toddlers growing up in the time of COVID.

The artists reached out for submissions from the public to help create the sculptures, and they extended the deadline to March 22nd—submit HERE.

Scott, Michael, and Alyse visit the JX with a progress report on their work and the plans for Art Beyond, which is scheduled for mid-May through mid-July.
