Envisioning A Better City At 'Remake Talent'

David Hess

Overnight, the cities of Talent and Phoenix changed completely. The Almeda Drive fire of September 8th burned right down the Bear Creek Valley through the two cities, taking out nearly 2,500 homes and hundreds of businesses.

The challenge has been thrown down, and Remake Talent has taken up the gauntlet in its namesake city. The organization set up to help people rebuild, with the goal of making a community that is more resilient, more equitable, and more sustainable than before.

Board President Audra McMurray and Executive Director Tucker Teutsch join us to lay out the plan.
