California's long list of November ballot measures produced a mixed bag of results on the criminal justice front.
Voters rejected the ending of cash bail offered in Prop 25. They also opted not to pass Prop 20, a tough-on-crime measure that would have potentially added to prison populations.
But voters did pass Prop 17, which restores voting rights to felons while they are on parole. The ACLU of Northern California took an interest in the criminal justice measures.
Brittany Stonesifer, a voting rights attorney at ACLUNC, visits with the organization's take on the results.
