Any activity that made money off gathering large groups of people together in close proximity got slammed by the COVID-19 pandemic. So you know live theater is suffering; there hasn't been a show on Broadway since March, and local theaters that have reopened have done so by taking great pains to keep people in the audience (and performers) separate.
