Red Light Cameras Accused Of Ripping Off Drivers

Derek Jensen/Wikimedia

Nobody likes getting a traffic ticket, but Jay Beeber REALLY dislikes it.

Beeber is the founder of Safer Streets LA, which advocates against the use of red light cameras.  To put it mildly.

And the campaign is not confined to Los Angeles; Beeber includes statistics from the red light cameras operated in Redding.  He says tickets from those cameras are way up lately.  He joins us with the issues over the red light cameras, and what he thinks should be done with them.
