Oregon Housing Industry Plans A Summit

jarmoluk/Pixabay

The most visible discussions of the housing shortage involve politicians and policy makers and advocates for homeless people.  Now the housing industry is making sure it is involved in the discussions; an Oregon Housing Economic Summit is planned for January in Salem.

The plans call for an assembly of home builders, bankers, realtors, and legislators to discuss issues in the housing business--including the shortage.

Linda Navarro, president of the Oregon Bankers Association, joins us.  Jenny Pakula, who heads the Oregon Association of Realtors, is another guest.  We get a sense of the topics up for discussion.
