Oregon Legislative Wrapup: What Passed, What Didn't, What's Next

The Oregon legislature finished its bi-annual short session with a rush of votes over the weekend. But lawmakers left Salem a week earlier than predicted.

And they avoided what everyone expected would be the biggest battle of the year – over a proposal to tax polluters for their carbon emissions.

OPB political reporter Lauren Dake spoke with JPR’s Liam Moriarty about what legislators did -- and did not -- accomplish this session.
