We are a Zen practice group in the Diamond Sangha tradition of the Harada-Yasutani lineage. Our supervising teacher is Michael Kieran of the Honolulu Diamond Sangha. Joe Fichter, a senior Zen student with over 35 years experience, organizes our local activities. We offer group sittings, practice talks and Dharma discussions. We also provide instruction in zazen (seated meditation) for those new to the practice.
We currently are meeting for zazen between 6 and 7 PM on Thursday evenings in the Shepherd Room at the UCC Church in Ashland, OR. Please arrive by 5:45 PM if you need basic zazen instruction, or by 5:55 PM if you do not. Please contact us with any questions.
