The Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon’s 35th Anniversary Season continues with Winter Concert Series performances at North Medford High School’s Sjolund Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5. Tickets are $15 (adults) and $10 (students w/ID) and may be purchased at the concerts. Advance tickets may be purchased at Artistic Piano, 112 West Main Street in Medford.

The Youth Symphony will play Serenade for String Orchestra, Op. 22, mvts. 1 & 2 by Dvořák, Andalucía by Lecuona (Jenkins), American Suite Selections by Dvořák, and the Nabucco Overture by Verdi (Ryden). The Youth Orchestra will play the Hornpipe from Water Music by Händel (Meyer), King William’s March by Clarke (Phillips), Festique by Daniels, and Cumberland Cross by Strommen. The orchestras will be led by YSSO music director Cynthia Hutton, D.M.A.
