Southern Oregon Concert Band presents a program of energetic, fun and uplifting music that will bring a bounce to your step in the long winter nights. Covering winter modes of transportation we have: a Toboggan Ride by Stan Applebaum, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson and a Troika by Sergei Prokofiev. Wander down memory lane with Let it Snow!/Winter Wonderland arr. by Ralph Ford or First Snow by Anthony O’Toole. Bringing a little magic to the evening is music by John Willams from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Home Alone. And keeping it a little classy we have Sleepers, Awake by JS Bach arr. Alfred Reed and Old Breton Carol setting by Gustav Holst.
