Medford, OR – The historic Holly Theatre is proud to present The Wood Brothers on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, bringing their acclaimed blend of soulful Americana to downtown Medford for one unforgettable evening.

Dubbed “masters of soulful folk” by Paste, The Wood Brothers formed after brothers Chris and Oliver Wood spent nearly 15 years pursuing separate musical paths. Chris earned international acclaim as one-third of Medeski Martin & Wood, while Oliver’s band King Johnson built a devoted following throughout the South. Joined by longtime collaborator Jano Rix, the trio has evolved into one of roots music’s most respected acts.

Known for rich harmonies, inventive arrangements, and deeply human songwriting, The Wood Brothers have released nine studio albums, earned a Grammy Award nomination, and played sold-out shows across North America. Their forthcoming album, Puff of Smoke, out August 1, continues their tradition of heartfelt storytelling and masterful musicianship.

The Wood Brothers have partnered with American Friends of Canadian Conservation, with $1 from every ticket sold supporting The Nature Trust of British Columbia in protecting ecologically rich wetlands and irreplaceable land from development. Each dollar donated will be matched with $2 from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, tripling the impact for conservation efforts.
