Sun Day Global Celebration

Sun Day Global Celebration

Well-known author and climate champion Bill McKibben organized Sun Day Global Celebration to announce that solar and wind and batteries are the cheapest and cleanest sources of energy on the planet. In Eureka CA, this event will take place on Sunday, September 21, in the picnic area at Carson Park at Carson and H St. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to live music, kids’ games, speakers and food carts, activities available include touring two fully electrified homes nearby, talking with electrification experts, and getting information about rebates and other financial incentives for buying energy-efficient appliances and transportation. This is a free event that is uniting people all over the world to state that renewable energy is unstoppable. Please email 350humboldt@gmail.com with questions about the event in Eureka.
