Storyteller Will Hornyak: The Myth of Skeleton Woman and Other Takes from the Edge of Imagination

Storyteller Will Hornyak: The Myth of Skeleton Woman and Other Takes from the Edge of Imagination

Oral traditions around the world are replete with stories of crossing life’s many thresholds. Master Storyteller Will Hornyak weaves together a variety of myths, stories, and poems from Inuit myths and Irish folktalkes to Arabian legends that offer unique perspectives upon aging, life, death, rebirth and the many thresholds we cross in this life. These old tales can speak to us like wise ancestors with ideas and strategies for navigating life’s many crossroads. Best for ages 14 and up, though older children are welcome with an adult.

Will Hornyak weaves world myths, local tall tales and original creations into unique, well-crafted and engaging performances, workshops and keynotes. He teaches storytelling in professional communication at Marylhurst Univ. in Portland, Oregon and performs throughout the United States.
