Southern Oregon Repertory Singers Concert: A Ceremony of Carols

Join us for our 40th season of music that will feature 9 unforgettable concerts and several community outreach events across the Rogue Valley!

The Southern Oregon Repertory Singers, under the inspired direction of Dr. Paul French will feature timeless masterpieces, contemporary music and bold new works that will stir your heart and lift your soul – all in celebration of the beauty of the human voice. This year’s transformative journey features revered masterworks, rising young composers, and premieres of new works that will move, delight and surprise you.

SPECIAL HOLIDAY EVENT: Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, 7:30 p.m., at the newly renovated Historic Holly Theatre, Medford. NOTE: tickets for this date will be sold exclusively through the Holly Theatre Box Office.

This concert celebrates the timeless appeal of holiday carols, featuring Benjamin Britten’s masterpiece, A Ceremony of Carols, composed for choir, soloists and harp; seasonal carols by Craig Kingsbury, Lucy Walker, and Andrew Carter; traditional classics such as “We wish you a merry Christmas”; and a commissioned premiere setting of “Have yourself a merry little Christmas” by Repertory Singers’ Composer in Residence, Jodi French. Grants Pass High School returns to join Repertory Singers for Craig Hella Johnson‘s lovely, “I love you/What a wonderful world” and Jodi French’s “Auld lang syne“.

Biking: We have a 10-spot bike rack for those who prefer to bike. Please bring a lock for your bike’s security.

Parking Information

Several options are available just steps away from the theatre.
Street Parking: Free one-, two-, and three-hour parking is available throughout downtown. It is enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no enforcement on weekends or city-observed holidays. (medfordoregon.gov)

Parking Garages:

Middleford Garage: 2 hours of free parking.
Evergreen Garage: 3 hours of free parking.
Parking Lots: Additional parking lots operated by the City are available nearby. For more details, visit City of Medford Downtown Parking.
