Southern Oregon Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Southern Oregon Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Make a splash with Oregon’s most beloved winter tradition! The Southern Oregon Polar Plunge is one of Special Olympics Oregon's premier fundraising events that fuels athletes with disabilities, by providing support for all of their training, sports equipment, travel, and fitness goals - leading up to all-inclusive participation in regional, national, and international competitions for more than 12,000 participants statewide.

Each winter thousands across Oregon brave frigid waters in support of and alongside SOOR athletes. Polar Plunges across the state provide a great way for individuals, organizations, schools, and businesses to connect, raise money, and participate in this fun event. The cold is temporary, but the impact is huge - all for a great cause. Here in Southern Oregon, we plunge into an outdoor, unheated pool at the Rogue Valley Country Club in Medford. For more information contact plunge manager Kim Andresen at 541-841-6875 or via email at soplunge@soor.org. To register to plunge or donate please go to: https://plungeoregon.org and choose the Southern Oregon Polar Plunge in Medford.
