A delightful and fun concert for children of ALL ages. We will be featuring “Tubby the Tuba”—a tuba who is tired of Oompahs and goes off to find a “song” he can play and brings it back to the band(orchestra). Along with this delightful work which “introduces” the instruments of the band the program will also include: “Disney Around the World”, and a perennial favorite “When you wish upon a star”, a beautiful arrangement by Sammy Nestico. We take you back to the 60’s when Sesame Street hit the airwaves with a “Sesame Street Celebration” and “Looney Tunes Overture” will take you back Saturday mornings in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal. For the Millennial Generation whose Saturday morning were spent “gaming” we bring the “Halo Theme” and “Minecraft”. With “Instant Concert” by Harold Walters, we bring you 30 iconic classical works in 3:10 minutes!
