The SOU Percussion Ensemble will perform their Fall Concert "Full Circle" on Tuesday December 3rd at 7:30pm at the SOU Music Recital Hall. Directed by Dr. Terry Longshore.

ABOUT THE CONCERT: "Full Circle"

The Southern Oregon University Percussion Ensembles, directed by Dr. Terry Longshore, will present "Full Circle," featuring music from Trinidad & Tobago performed by the Maraval Rd. Steel Band, and the SOU Percussion Ensemble performing several concert percussion works. Featured will be Longshore's "Science Friction" and his new composition, "Full Circle: Turtle Wisdom," for gong orchestra, inspired by and featuring the artwork of Betty LaDuke. The ensemble will be joined by Longshore's Honors College "Making Music" course, and the concert will also feature guest artist Dr. Casey Shillam, SOU's Provost and Executive Vice-President.
