Siskiyou Singers Present Rachmaninoff Vespers and Holiday Music
Siskiyou Singers' December concerts will feature the stirring harmonies of Rachmaninoff's choral masterpiece, the Vespers (also known as the All-Night Vigil) a beautiful and spiritual setting of traditional sacred texts appropriate to the season. The second half of each concert includes holiday favorites sure to leave you with a warm glow. Musicologist Ed Wight will present a free lecture about the music an hour before the Friday and Saturday concerts.
