Rogue Reads: Red at the Bone Book Discussion

Rogue Reads: Red at the Bone Book Discussion

Join us to read and discuss the novel Red at the Bone, by Rogue Reads author Jacqueline Woodson. In Woodson's novel, an unexpected teenage pregnancy pulls together two families from different social classes, and exposes the private hopes, disappointments, and longings that can bind or divide us from each other. Moving forward and backward in time, Woodson’s taut and powerful new novel uncovers the role that history and community have played in the experiences, decisions, and relationships of these families, and in the life of the new child. About Rogue Reads Rogue Reads is a JCLS program that encourages everyone in Jackson County to read and discuss the same books. This three-month program will take place all winter: December 2020 through February 2021 and will feature discussions and programs on books by bestselling author Jacqueline Woodson. Learn more.
