Saturday night at the ASCEND Art Conference:a moving evening of visual storytelling, faith, and vision, featuring celebrated artist and speaker Frank Ordaz.

Frank’s award-winning career spans decades—beginning as a matte painter with Lucasfilm on films like Return of the Jedi, E.T., and Indiana Jones. His fine art portraits are known for capturing not just the likeness, but the soul of his subjects. His work has been featured by the White House, Art of the West Magazine, and the George Bush Presidential Library. Today, Frank paints from his Auburn studio and uses his art and podcast to engage the culture with the hope and truth of Jesus.

-Jeanne Randall, a Director of a Conferemce, will also join in a powerful conversation about the Magna Deo Project—a vision to establish a creative sanctuary in Ashland for artists to glorify God through their gifts.
-The evening will also include a dramatic live reenactment of “The Rich Young Ruler” by artist Chris Hopkins, featuring actor Isaiah Gomburg. Produced by The Rock Theater of New Song Church
