Music of the Spheres Concert

Music of the Spheres Concert
Eureka Symphony’s next concert will be out of this world!
1) Overture to “Il Mondo Della Luna” (The World on the Moon), Franz Joseph Haydn
This is a window into Haydn’s quirky vision of life on the moon, written in the comic opera buffa style. Local high school students will play side-by-side with Eureka Symphony orchestra members.
2) Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola, and Orchestra in Eb Major KV 364, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Allegro maestoso. Andante. Presto. Featuring the return of our two charismatic soloists Liana Bérubé, violin and Ivo Bokulić, viola.
3) The Planets by Gustav Holst.
We will be projecting NASA images of planets to enhance the experience.
Musical Notes are presented at 6:30 pm just before the concert.
You can also join a webinar on Monday April 21.
