LowDown Brass Band Concert in Langlois

LowDown Brass Band Concert in Langlois
Chicago-based LowDown Brass Band is back in Langlois with unique, upbeat brass sounds at the Langlois Cheese Factory on Sunday, February 2. The LowDown Brass Band leans heavily on dancehall and street beat rhythms with the energy of hip hop, jazz, ska, reggae, and soul. In other words, these infectious rhythms lead to an all-out dance party. Led by the lyrical muscle of hip-hop artist MC Billa Camp, the high-energy all-horn ensemble taps traditional New Orleans brass music and contemporary styles from Chicago and New York City. LowDown’s unconventional yet refined style has made loyal followers from across the country, and with more than a half-dozen albums under their belt, there’s a large repertoire for these performers to draw from.
Vendors will be onsite with food and drink (alcohol and non-alcohol) available for purchase during the show.
