Local Author Book Reading with Louisa Morgan; The "Faierie Morgana"

Join renowned feminist fiction author and local Jacksonville resident, Louisa Morgan (Louise Marley) as she reads selections from her newly released (26th) published novel: The Faerie Morgana. In this atmospheric and bewitching novel, Louisa reimagines the story of Morgan Le Fay, one of the most enigmatic and powerful women in Arthurian legend.

Louisa will also be offering an exciting two-hour writing workshop as a follow-up to any aspiring writers on Wednesday, Sept. 24 4-6pm.

Presenter, Louisa Morgan (pseudonym for Louise Marley), has been publishing steadily since her first novel appeared in 1995. She is a three-time winner of the Endeavour Award, given for excellence in speculative fiction by a Pacific Northwest author. Previously trained as a classical singer, she performed with the Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony. She taught voice and related subjects at Cornish College of the Arts and has toured the world as a soloist.
