Learn to Dance this Winter in North Bend, Free Public Class
The South Coast Folk Society invites all dancers, and would-be dancers, to dance with us every Monday morning beginning Monday, January 9, at 10AM in North Bend. Women and men, young and old, are all encouraged to join the fun as we learn a variety of beginner-friendly dances from around the world and get great exercise. No experience is necessary. This is a ten-week class. Each class is special, so please come when you can. Skilled instructors will guide you every step of the way. The dances are easy to learn and appropriate for all ages, great opportunity to enjoy music and movement in a friendly social environment.
We meet at the North Bend Senior Center for this free series of classes. The Center is located at 1470 Airport Way in North Bend. Casual clothes are recommended, and comfortable dancing shoes. The class features dances from America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Dance styles include circle dances, line dances, set dances and squares. All are basic beginner level dances, invigorating and easy. For more information about the class, call the instructors, Kay Pace at 541-888-5921, or Paul Poresky at 541-404-8267.
