Join Southern Oregon local fiber artist, Caryne Mount, for Go Ahead-PLAY with Your Fabric, a weekend workshop on Saturday and Sunday August 3 & 4 from 10AM-5PM both days at the Guild Gallery & Art Center in Kerby! During this hands-on 2-day workshop, you will explore fabric manipulation, embellishment, color dye addition/subtraction, painting, stamping, and other treatments that will turn fabric into something completely unique, new, and different! There will be discussion on fabric, fiber, properties, hand-outs, demos, and of course, plenty of opportunity to explore and create for all attending.

Students will walk away with extensive handouts about each fabric process, samples made using various treatments, and the skills to continue on their own at home. Caryne will provide ALL materials needed, including safety gear for students. Class will be both indoors/outdoors so please prepare accordingly and bring a bagged lunch to enjoy for both days.
