Camassia: a Southern Oregon Gem

Come learn about the genus Camassia, an important contribution of the Klamath-Siskiyou bioregion to North America. Students will learn all about this spring flowering genus, including identification, anatomy, physiology, natural and cultural history, and current conservation efforts. Includes handan excursion to a local site to see camas blooming, and a chance to taste prepared camas bulbs. Ages 16+ welcome.
