Celebrate spooky season with these amazing creatures of the night! Learn all about these flying mammals and their important role in our ecosystem. The program features 8 different species of preserved bat specimens as well as a bat skeleton and bat echolocation sounds. The audience receives instructions on building a bat-house, Bat ID sheets and bat coloring pages at the finish. Children ages 3+ to adults; Free- Children under 3;
Free- Adults accompanying youth.

About the Instructor:
Life-ling entomologist and naturalist, John Jackson is the creator Bugs-R-Us Educational Services. He provides science-based, educational, portable presentations on a wide variety of natural subjects. All programs are aligned with Oregon State Educational Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, mapped for STEM and STEAM applications as well as National Science Education Standards.
