Between Two Worlds: I Wasn’t Cancelled...Just Confused Chronicles of The Not Deaf Enough Girl By TL Forsberg

Between Two Worlds: I Wasn’t Cancelled...Just Confused Chronicles of The Not Deaf Enough Girl By TL Forsberg

“She will shake you to your soul!” – Sharri Barrett, Broadway World

Between Two Worlds: Chronicles of The Not Deaf Enough Girl is a raw and fearless journey into life at the fault line between cultures, expectations, and truth. TL Forsberg, a d/Deaf and disability advocate, guides audiences through her rise to visibility, her collapse under cultural backlash, and her reclamation of power in the space no one believed she belonged.

Drawing from her award-winning solo show The Book That Won’t Close, TL blends humor, confession, and poetic fire to expose cultural hierarchies and unspoken rules that punish anyone living outside the binary. Critics hail her as “a force to be reckoned with – a master at unpacking societal taboos” (NoHo Arts) and praise her work as “a show that will shake you to your soul” (Broadway World).

With original music and video projection, this show is fully accessible with ASL interpretation. Between Two Worlds invites audiences to witness the beauty, volatility, and undeniable strength of a life lived in the middle, and to consider what truth demands of us all.

TL Forsberg is an internationally recognized singer/performer in Deaf Culture, a Diversity and Inclusion Advocate, trauma-informed Creativity Doula, and a cultural ambassador on disability.
