Our recurring program “Modern Life Skills for Older Adults,” will be held on Monday, August 28 at 2:00 PM. This month Tom Baake will join us to discuss local walking trails. Tom Baake is author of the guidebook Out Our Back Door: Driving Tours and Day Hikes on Oregon's South Coast. He has also written a South Coast bicycle guidebook and co-authored a kayak guidebook. He has a weekly outdoor recreation column in the South Coast Shopper, and his articles and photos have appeared in Oregon Coast Magazine and many other publications.
A resource table with related services and program materials from local organizations will be available during the program.
