Do you still have a young undiscovered filmmaker in your midst? There’s still time left for them to make a short film (using a phone or other simple camera) to enter into the Student Launch Competition for the Ashland Independent Film Festival 2021! The deadline is at midnight on January 15, 2021. There is a $200 prize for a winner in each age category, and this year there’s a new $400 “Rising from the Ashes” prize for the winning film dealing with any themes regarding the Almeda fires.
