“Artists in Action Festival with 30-40 Artists Demonstrating their Crafts & Live Music”
The sidewalks in Historic Downtown Weaverville will come alive with activity on Saturday, Sept. 13. From 11 am to 3 pm, 30 to 40 artists will demonstrate glass work, painting, ceramics, batik, wood carving, metal work, repurposing junk into treasure, and more during the Trinity County Arts Council's ARTISTS IN ACTION FESTIVAL. The band Hooda Thunkitt will set the tempo playing blues and rock on the UpNorth Deck from noon to 3pm. Kids activities will occur at many locations including Mountain Goat Kids and the Trinity Theater. Sink your hands into clay and try throwing a pot or experience the ancient art of batik. The County-wide Yard Sale is the same Saturday, so the town will be buzzing with activity. Bring the family and experience the ARTS !
