The Eureka Chamber Music Series is delighted to welcome back the Arianna String Quartet for two exceptional concerts and a full week of educational outreach in north coast string orchestra classrooms. As the Quartet in Residence at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, the Arianna has earned a stellar reputation for their outstanding musicianship, for their critically acclaimed recordings, and for their teaching. At the Concert & Conversation on Sunday afternoon, the Arianna will perform String Quartet No. 3 in F major, Op. 73, composed immediately following the Second World War by the great Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
