Are you a creative writer looking to sharpen your skills and network with other literary artists? The Southern Oregon Guild and the Rogue Writers Collective proudly present the "7th Let’s Write!" Event – A Day of Writing for All Kinds of Writers! Join 7 local writers on Saturday January 31, 2026 from 9am-4pm at the Guild Gallery & Art Center in Kerby, for a series of interactive workshops aimed to actively inspire your own literary practice! Ages 16+ and all levels of writers are welcome.

Our 2026 theme is - "Visions: Writing the Future You Want to See." Following a keynote address by Jennifer Roberts, author of "The Village Healer’s Book of Cures," there will be three 90-minute sessions, each with a choice of two separate workshops, for a total of six different presentations. Workshops will be offered by: Deborah Murphy, Shelly King, Scout Cox, Ruth Halpern, Joy Lotus, and Lisa E. Baldwin, who will provide support in guiding attendees to create their own fresh writing.

Event fees are sliding scale from $45-$65 for adults and $25 for students/youth age 16-21. Full, Partial, and Work-Trade Scholarships are available and can be applied for by emailing guild@southernoregonguild.org. Coffee, Lunch, Snacks, and Refreshments are all included.
