In March, JPR’s Erik Neumann spoke with four Rogue Valley seniors about how they were coping with the isolation of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, five months later, he checks back in to hear how the virus has changed their thoughts about society, family, and their own lives.

JPR’s Erik Neumann spoke with Larry Hunter, Andrea Gay, Augusta Lucas Andrea, and Elisabeth Zinser.

Erik Neumann is OPB’s Southwest Washington Bureau Chief. He has more than a decade of experience as a radio reporter, writer and editor. Before working at OPB, he was JPR's news director and a health care reporter at KUER in Salt Lake City, Utah. Erik has a master’s degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
