Prozanski said in the wake of this month's shooting at Umpqua Community College he wants lawmakers to continue tackling the issue of gun violence in upcoming legislative sessions.
Among Prozanski's top priorities would be allowing medical practitioners to alert police if they have a patient with mental illness who they believe should not have access to firearms.
