New Otter Pups Coming To Oregon Zoo, Oregon Coast Aquarium

I usually reserve my cute animal video watching for Fridays, but I made an exception today:

The Oregon Zoo and the Oregon Coast Aquarium said in the most adorable press release ever that two otter pups will be joining each organization.

I know, I know. I can’t handle the cuteness either.

The pups, Oswald and Juno, were found on California beaches, with no mama otters apparently in sight. They were flown first class in ice-filled crates to the Oregon Coast Tuesday. Oswald is getting comfy at the aquarium while Juno is making the zoo her home.

“Juno arrived Tuesday night and immediately began exploring,” said Nicole Nicassio-Hiskey, the Oregon Zoo’s senior marine life keeper. “She’s active, playful, curious — I can tell she’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Both Oswald and Juno will make their first public appearances this summer.
