Ashland film fest gets a new artistic director
Ashland Independent Film Festivalhas raised its stature over the years, attracting high quality films and big audiences, even through the pandemic and the forcing of the festival into a virtual format.
Richard Herskowitz has guided AIFF in recent years, but has decided to head East to be closer to family.
The festival moves on with two additions: interim Executive Director Sky Loos and new Artistic Director Roberta Munroe.
Loos is a longtime resident of the Rogue Valley; Munroe is a longtime programmer and manager of film festivals, including some of the big ones.
Robert Munroe visits to talk about her career and her ideas for the Ashland festival.
