Ashland Independent Film Festival has raised its stature over the years, attracting high quality films and big audiences, even through the pandemic and the forcing of the festival into a virtual format.
Richard Herskowitz has guided AIFF in recent years, but has decided to head East to be closer to family.
The festival moves on with two additions: interim Executive Director Sky Loos and new Artistic Director Roberta Munroe.
Loos is a longtime resident of the Rogue Valley; Munroe is a longtime programmer and manager of film festivals, including some of the big ones.
Robert Munroe visits to talk about her career and her ideas for the Ashland festival.
