First Concert is JPR's classical music program for the morning hours, including a mix of favorites from the standard repertoire plus a healthy dose of lesser-known composers and pieces.  Each day includes an episode of Composer's Datebook at 8am, a featured work at 9am, and the day's episode of SoundBeat at 11:58am.

On Saturday mornings, you'll hear the day's episode of Composer's Datebook at 9am, and we'll bring you right up to the opening curtain of our Saturday morning opera at 10am.
